Why choose Sash Restorer

  • Repair, not replace.

Original windows can almost always be saved. We keep as much of the old timber, glass and detail as possible.

  • Listed and heritage specialist.

Materials and methods suitable for listed buildings and conservation areas.

  • Clear, fixed-price quotes.

A written quote for the work set out, and the price won’t go up if the job takes longer than planned.

Questions

Is the price fixed?

Yes. The quote is a fixed price for the work set out, so it won’t go up if the job takes longer. The only exception is hidden rot that can’t be seen until the window is opened up. If we find any, we’ll stop, show you, and price the extra work before doing anything.

How long will my windows be out?

Most work is done on site. If sashes go to the workshop, we’ll agree how long beforehand, and the openings will be securely boarded.
