Sash Restorer is run by Frank Kent, who restores timber sash windows across Dorset.

We believe old windows are worth saving. Most of the problems people live with, such as sticking sashes, draughts, broken cords and rotten cills, can be repaired properly for far less than the cost of replacement, and the original character stays with the house.

• Qualifications: City & Guilds qualified, CITB construction carpentry and joinery
• Insurance: Public liability insurance
• Hours: 8am–7pm, 7 days a week
• Based in: Osmington, near Weymouth, Dorset
