Questions
Is it worth restoring my windows rather than replacing them?
Usually, yes. Original timber is often better quality than modern softwood, and a restored window can last for decades. It also keeps the character of the house and is often required for listed buildings.
Is lead paint a problem?
Older windows often have lead paint, so we assume they do and work in a way that keeps dust to a minimum. We also use extraction equipment rated for lead-based paint when removing old paint.
Areas we cover
We offer casement window repairs across Weymouth, Osmington, Osmington Mills, Isle of Portland, Dorchester, Poundbury, Poxwell, Warmwell, West Lulworth, Wareham and Bridport, from our base in Osmington, near Weymouth.
